I use a combination of traditional acupuncture and dry needling to customize treatments for individual patient needs. Dry needling – also known as “ashi”, or trigger point acupuncture – involves manipulation of acupuncture needles in a manner that triggers rapid modification in the placement and function of the muscle. This promotes relaxation in overactive muscles, activation in weak muscles, a stronger core, better posture, and optimal organ positioning.
Other methods that I specialize in – like ear needling and meridian balancing acupuncture – can be helpful to regulate the nervous system, circulate blood, balance hormones and support detoxification.
